Our Spring 2010 season of fayres is now well and truly underway, with another great day at the Village Cardiff at Coryton. Don't forget to come along to our next fantastic fayre at Hilton Newport in Langstone (M4/J24) on February 7th, where you will see a different mix of some of the most well established and experienced wedding professionals who have been exhibiting with us for years!!
WOW!!! Our Autumn 2009 season was a fabulous success with well over 1000 brides visiting us, and all their families of course! If you weren't able to attend and would like information about the fabulous Wedding packages on offer at the venues, contact the sales teams who are always happy to organise a show around. All our Fayres are spectacular - of course! - bringing you the very best that South Wales has to offer when it comes to organising your big day. Our Associate Events are held in slightly smaller venues who offer amazing Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions with a very personal touch. The events focus on the venue and local suppliers, but are always as enjoyable and well presented as our Wedding Fayres. The first Val Slater Wedding Fayre in Wales was organised in June 1992.
Since then over 175 Wedding Fayres have been organised under
the Val Slater banner providing excellent Fayres with a friendly atmosphere,

The last time you came to a Val Slater Wedding Fayre, of course! There really is no fayre
like a Val Slater Wedding Fayre.
We do not
have fashion shows, we offer something far better - there is always a private room set aside for
you to try on your dream dress or accessories. Why not make a day of it? You are always welcome to visit the hotel's facilities, have a relaxing coffee while looking over all the information you've gathered, before going back into the fayre a second time to make some all important bookings, then pop into the bar to celebrate with a nice glass of wine! Have some lunch in the restaurant or bar (booking may be adviseable) all that planning is bound to work up an appetite. One thing is for sure, a visit to a Val Slater Wedding Fayre, with a superb variety of friendly, experienced wedding professionals waiting to talk to you is a must for everyone involved in the planning of your big day!
Hi, I wonder if you could tell me the name of the magician at the St David’s Hotel Wedding Fayre. Somehow, after collecting all the information I can’t find his card and I am desperate to contact him. It was a fab fayre; so much for thinking I had everything organised, after taking details, I have booked Des Johnston the Toastmaster and have just contacted Lesley at Cakes For All Occasions to order one of her beautiful creations – and my wedding is on April 26th THIS YEAR!! I was very lucky to be able to add to the day at this late stage and am hoping to make it a hat-trick with the magician! It really would be magic!
