Gavin & Stacey wins again!!!

We are so proud to have been involved with the filming of one of the episodes of the first series of Gavin & Stacey, we are all firm fans as, it would seem, are most of the UK too!  At this year's BAFTA's James Corden (Smiffy) won Best Comedy Performance and the series won the Sky + Audience Award.  Well done Ruth and James, we knew it was a winner when we read the script, and if you haven't seen us yet, the first series is available on DVD and we are in Episode 4 - The Wedding Fayre (of course!!!!)

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new information website

www.weddingfayreswales.co.uk.  Our designer Paul Adamson of Local View in Caerphilly spent a great deal of time at our fayres with us and we are really pleased with the result.  The site has a great deal of information for Brides, Grooms and their families so they can continue with their wedding plans throughout the year.  The site will be re-launched at the end of every season, with new content and interesting features.

Brides PA is a new service which has quickly become invaluable to brides to be and their families.

The brides dressing service is the best wedding present you could have, bringing order to chaos, calm to frenzy and allowing everyone to enjoy the day.

The Brides PA service can do as much or as little as you require, from helping you on the run up to your wedding with the planning and organising, taking on your to-do-lists, through to providing a dressing service to the bride and bridesmaids (and mothers& fathers etc!) on the big day.

You can also have your very own PA to support you throughout the day, taking care of everything for you so you can relax and enjoy your special day completely stress free, as we provide total on the day co-ordination.

We can pack and unpack your overnight bag, through to your honeymoon suitcase, and after the wedding we can tie up all the loose ends by taking any hired items back to the suppliers etc!

Great news!  The Civil Partnership Act 2004

On December 21st, 2005 the very first 'Gay Wedding' took place under the Civil Partnership Act 2004.  Congratulations to all couples in South Wales, and the rest of the United Kingdom, who are finally tying the knot after waiting so long for this historic day.  We would like to wish everyone organising a Civil Partnership Ceremony, the very best of luck with their planning.
